Get cited by AI — not just ranked by Google.
Search results now start with an AI answer. I'm an AEO/GEO specialist based in the Philippines, working worldwide — and content I've written already holds citation slots in live Google AI Overviews across ecommerce, lifestyle, and SaaS. This page explains what that takes.
AEO, GEO, AIO — plain-English definitions
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is structuring content so answer engines — featured snippets, voice assistants, AI answer boxes — can lift your words as the direct answer to a question.
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is earning citations inside AI-generated results: Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot. The engine writes the answer; GEO decides whose pages it credits.
AIO (AI Overview Optimization) is the Google-specific flavor — optimizing to be one of the cited sources in the AI Overview at the top of the results page.
The short version: classic SEO gets you into the candidate pool. AEO/GEO decides whether the AI quotes you or your competitor. They're layers of one system — and I build all the layers.
Why this matters in 2026
AI Overviews now sit above the classic results for a huge share of informational and commercial queries, and answer engines resolve many searches without a single click. When that happens, the only brands in the conversation are the ones the AI cites. Google's own guidance (see AI features and your website) is clear: there's no special markup to buy your way in — citations go to content that's crawlable, factual, well-structured, and genuinely answers the question. That's a content-quality game. It's the game I've been playing for five years.
The receipts
I don't sell AI-search theory. Content I've written or directed is cited in live Google AI Overviews:
- An ecommerce client's article is the cited source for its money keyword's AI Overview — this article, publicly visible.
- A lifestyle brand holds all three citation slots in one AI Overview — every source in the answer is an article from my client's site (name under NDA).
- A SaaS platform is recommended #1 inside the AI answer for its category query (under NDA).
Recreations of these results are on the homepage, and the method is broken down in this guide.

AI search — FAQ
Is SEO dead now that AI answers exist?
No — AI answers are built on top of search. AI Overviews cite pages that already rank and are structured to be quotable. Classic SEO is the entry ticket; AEO/GEO is how you win the citation.
Do I need AEO and GEO separately from SEO?
They're layers of one system, not separate projects. I fold AEO/GEO into the same content and on-page work: answer-first structure, entities, schema, and quotable formatting.
How do you measure AI search visibility?
Citation tracking for target queries (which sources the AI Overviews and chatbots cite), Search Console position and CTR shifts, and branded-mention monitoring in AI answers.
Can you guarantee my brand appears in AI Overviews?
No honest specialist guarantees placements — Google doesn't sell AI Overview slots. What I offer is a method that has produced live citations for my clients, applied to your content.
Where are you based, and does it matter?
Bulacan, Philippines — near Manila — working with clients worldwide. AI engines don't care where your specialist sits; your budget will appreciate it.
